Mr. Smith at Paris Men’s Fashion Week, Fall Winter 2018

Late last month, Mr. Smith’s International Creative Team headed to Paris Men’s Fall Winter Fashion Week to collaborate with a cadre of rising young fashion designers. And, thanks to a number of talented hairstylists, Mr. Smith products were spotted across multiple runway shows.

For Palomo Spain’s Elizabethan–meets–hunting inspired collection, stylist Michaël Delmas crafted soft, elegant waves and Robin Hood-worthy curls. Delmas later worked his magic at Arthur Avellano and MYAR. The look at Arthur Avellano was preppy and clean – floppy fringes were pinned back, with long strands tucked behind ears, 90’s boy band style.

Over at MYAR — a label that repurposes and remixes vintage military garments — Delmas let crew cuts rule supreme.

It was quite the opposite for Ludovic de Saint Sernin’s sensual, Dali-esque collection, where stylist Louis Ghewy created natural waves and boyish bangs to frame the face.

Meanwhile, the Andrea Crews runway was all about swag.  Here, stylist Chiao Chenet sent models out in braids, natural hair and sweaty club kid locks – the perfect accompaniment for Crews’ tongue-in-cheek streetwear.

Next up on the Mr. Smith calendar will be Fall-Winter 2018 shows in New York, London and Paris.
